Frequently Asked Questions:

Question:  Do you offer a discount for multiple children?

Answer:  No, currently, we only offer discounts to students who return for more than one session.

Question:  If my child participates in more than one week, will the projects be the same or will they vary?

Answer:  The drawing part of the program will basically remain the same, as I try to pick the 5 most important lessons  to present in case a student only has the opportunity to attend one session.  Returning students are given the option to draw alternate subject matter, but I have found that most want to improve upon their past attempt or prefer to do what the rest of the class is doing.  The afternoon craft session will vary from week to week.

Question:  Are students grouped according to age or ability?

Answer:  No, all students are grouped together.  They are allowed to sit where they want and often switch seats to be next to new friends they have made as the week progresses.  We have found that the older students like to help the younger ones and the wide range of ages has never presented a problem.

Question:  Will my child receive instruction appropriate for his/her age as the class enrollment is so varied?

Answer:  I teach the children the same information that I impart to adults.  The younger students amaze me with what they glean from the lessons and all students are given individualized information to help them progress according to their level.

Question:  Do you accept 5 year olds?

Answer:  Yes, will will accept 5 year olds if the parent feels the child mature enough and is comfortable with being in a classroom situation for 4 hours.
