After a life-long love of drawing, Susan started painting upon retirement from the business world. She is mainly self-taught, but has also taken classes at Woodmere Art Museum, Montgomery County Community College and Greater Norristown Art League. Susan’s style is traditional realism, and she paints strictly with oils. She particularly admires the work of the 17th century Dutch painters.
Susan has received a number of awards for her portrait, animal and still life paintings. She also enjoys painting seascapes and beach scenes. |
